partnership or<font color="#CCCCCC"> alliance</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> working together</font> are always driven by one critically important thing<font color="#E5E5E5"> and that is what vision</font> what is<font color="#CCCCCC"> that we're trying to do now</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">there are four tests you can give to any</font> vision for collaboration<font color="#CCCCCC"> or partnership</font>

what are they well they're quite clear <font color="#E5E5E5">icing first of all is this a</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> God idea is</font> this proposal that's being made is this <font color="#E5E5E5">ideas being presented something that</font> clearly<font color="#CCCCCC"> God</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> wants done this is not</font> somebody's private agenda is<font color="#E5E5E5"> something</font>

consistent with the character of<font color="#CCCCCC"> God and</font> what we know from<font color="#CCCCCC"> God's Word and</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> the</font> history<font color="#E5E5E5"> of the church is</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> this</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> something</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">God once done</font> number<font color="#E5E5E5"> two is this something that can</font> never be accomplished by one single

ministry if one<font color="#E5E5E5"> ministry can do it why</font> not or if you can get<font color="#E5E5E5"> two ministries to</font> work together into it fine<font color="#E5E5E5"> why should</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> we form a big</font> partnership<font color="#CCCCCC"> or national alliance or</font> something like that<font color="#E5E5E5"> if we can do it with</font>

one or two ministries<font color="#CCCCCC"> know typically</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> big</font> challenges require cooperation among a large number of God's people<font color="#CCCCCC"> it's too</font> big for any one of us to do alone<font color="#E5E5E5"> now</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">third question if we</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> accomplish</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> this</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">with this vision</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> actually</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> align with</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> the</font>

vision and the purpose and mission of my own ministry in other words is<font color="#E5E5E5"> there</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">alignment between what</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> God has called us</font> to my ministry my life and what the partnership is trying to do because there's<font color="#E5E5E5"> not alignment between what God's</font>

called me to do and<font color="#E5E5E5"> call the partnership</font> to do why should we work together<font color="#CCCCCC"> it's not</font> because we're angry<font color="#E5E5E5"> stopped because we</font> don't like each other it's just<font color="#E5E5E5"> were called</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> the different</font>

<font color="#CCCCCC">things</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> so the</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> first question is is the</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">God idea</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> second is it too big for anyone</font> to do together<font color="#CCCCCC"> third</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> doesn't align with</font> and bring value to the work<font color="#CCCCCC"> God's</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">already call me to</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> New</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> and finally the</font> fourth element of vision is

<font color="#CCCCCC">to what extent and we've been able to</font> articulate or state<font color="#E5E5E5"> our objectives in</font> clear measurable terms<font color="#E5E5E5"> just talking is</font> not not<font color="#CCCCCC"> seven designs we</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> get together</font> and talk talk talk talk talk and nothing happens

no no<font color="#CCCCCC"> the vision the</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> goal of the</font> partnership the<font color="#E5E5E5"> Alliance has got to be</font> specific outcomes<font color="#E5E5E5"> what within three</font> months<font color="#E5E5E5"> within six months</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> and how are we</font> going to measure this<font color="#CCCCCC"> Jesus</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> again and</font> again said as good stewards<font color="#E5E5E5"> we have to</font>

be evaluating our work <font color="#E5E5E5">did</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> I give you ten</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> that</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> I give you</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> five</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">did I give you one</font> how did you do<font color="#E5E5E5"> so as we come together in</font> partnership<font color="#E5E5E5"> vision drives everything but</font> the vision has to be very specific<font color="#CCCCCC"> has</font>

to meet those key criteria<font color="#CCCCCC"> a god thing</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">too big to do alone</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> aligned with my</font> organization's vision<font color="#CCCCCC"> bringing value</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> to</font> us and very specific in terms of outcomes

Video Description

Phill Butler explores four key criteria for creating a partnership vision. 1. Is this something God wants done? 2. Is it too big for any one organization to do? 3. If accomplished, will it align with the mission and purpose of my own ministry and calling and 4. Can we state the vision in terms of clear, specific outcomes.
